פטריית ראישי היא אחת הפטריות הנחקרות ביותר בעולם, והיא נמצאת בשימוש למעלה מ-2,000 שנים ברפואה הסינית המסורתית. לפטרייה זו התיעוד העתיק ביותר לשימוש לצורכי רפואה במזרח הרחוק.

השם הסיני Ling zhi, שמשמעותו “עוצמה רוחנית וחיי נצח”, המייצג את הרעיון של השמיימי והמופלא, מבטא חיים ארוכים, חיי נצח, חיוניות ואיכות חיים טובה, ומתועד עוד מימי שושלת האן בשנים 100-200 לספירה. קיסרים ואצילים בסין וביפן נהגו לצרוך מפטריית ראישי להגברת החוסן המנטאלי והנפשי. הרבליסט ידוע במאה ה-16 בשם Li Shizhen תיאר אותה כצמח המעלה את תוחלת החיים ובעל תכונות אנטי אייג’ינג. ביפן מכונה הפטרייה Mannentake  – “פטריית 10,000 השנים”.

הפטרייה נחשבת כבר מהרפואה המסורתית ועד לימינו, כאדפטוגנית, המשפיעה על תפקוד האדרנל ומגבירה את עמידות הגוף למצבי סטרס (פיזית ומנטלית).

לפטרייה מספר זנים, הנבדלים בצבעים בוהקים שונים (אדום, שחור, לבן, כחול וצהבהב), שהנחקר ביותר הוא הראישי האדומה, שהיא פטרייה רחבה ושטוחה, עם כובע בולט בוהק דמוי לכה אדומה. היא חסרת זימים בצידה התחתון, ומשחררת את הנבגים שלה דרך נקבוביות עדינות.

הראישי האדומה גדלה ברחבי יבשת אסיה, בבסיסם של מגוון רחב של עצים נשירים, וביערות הצפון המזרחיים של קנדה, בעיקר בבסיסם של עצי אֶדֶר. מינים דומים של הפטרייה גדלים גם באמזונס.

התוויות מסורתיות שטרם נמצאו להן עדויות מחקריות:

אינסומניה (נדודי שינה), מחלות אוטואימוניות, הפרעות קשב וריכוז, מחלות האשימוטו (תת פעילות אוטואימונית של בלוטת התריס), גרייבס (יתר פעילות אוטואימונית של בלוטת התריס), דלקת מפרקים שגרונית (RA), אי ספיקת כליות, שיעול, אסתמה, COPD.

בראיה סינית מסורתית:

מחזקת את הצ’י ומזינה את הדם. מחזקת צ’י ודם הלב.

מזינה את הלב ומרגיעה את ה-Shen. משקיטה את הנפש ומעוררת את המודעות והתבונה.

אופני השימוש והמינונים המומלצים בספרות:

תמצית נוזלית (טינקטורה): בריכוז של 1:3, 45% אלכוהול, 2-10 מ”ל ליום.

תמצית יבשה: תמצית תקנית 5:1 בריכוז של 10% פוליסכרידים, 200-3,000 מ”ג ליום.

מרתח: 1-10 גרם ליום.

כחלק מפורמולה: 25-40%.

בטיחות, רעילות, אינטראקציות ותופעות לוואי:

פטריית ראישי הינה פטרייה בטוחה לשימוש.

בשל הפעילות מעוררת מערכת החיסון שלה (immunostimulant), אין להשתמש בפטרייה למושתלי איברים.

יש להפסיק השימוש בפטרייה חמישה ימים לפני ביצוע פרוצדורה כירורגית וניתן לחזור ליטול ממנה יומיים לאחר ביצוע הפרוצדורה.

יש לנקוט זהירות רבה בנטילת ראישי ביחד עם מדללי דם אנטי קואגולנטים ממשפחת הקומדין (coumadin), קלקסן (clexane), קסרלטו (xarelto), אליקוויס (Eliquis), פרדקסה (Pradaxa), מכיוון שהפטרייה עלולה להאריך משך מדדי הקרישיות INR, PT, PTT/APTT.

במחקרי מעבדה in vitro, הפוליסכרידים בפטריית ראישי עיכבו האנזימים CYP2E1, CYP1A2, CYP3A בציטוכרום P450 בכבד, המשופעלים על ידי התרופות ניפדיפין Nifedipine)), פנקטין (Phenacetin),  מוסקול (Chlorzoxazone), ומכאן, עלולה לפגוע בריכוז המטבוליטים של תרופות אשר עוברות מטבוליזם במסלולים אלה. אולם, לא נערכו מחקרים קליניים בנושא זה והמשמעות הקלינית של ממצאים אלה אינה ברורה.

לא ידועה סכנה בשימוש בזמן הריון (למעט עם קבלת מדללי דם כדוגמת קלקסן).
